With our comprehensive prototype and production capabilities, Hy-Vac is the largest aluminum heat treating facility in the Midwest, enabling us to provide services from single part prototypes to high-volume production runs. To create the most optimal treatment methods, our large walk-in age ovens, 72" diameter batch furnace and 30" diameter small lot capacity furnaces are designed specifically to treat aluminum. Aging and soak times are automatically controlled by our advanced process management system. Time and temperature graphs are available. Our air and water quenching applications focus on quality, temperature and speed; fast-quenching capabilities are available to meet even the most demanding specifications. Hy-Vac has the most advanced resources and equipment to process aluminum forging, sand castings, permanent molds, wrought, investment castings, fabrications and stampings to your required temper.

Controlled atmosphere brazing and heat-treating. Hydrogen, nitrogen and inert gases, as well as other customer-specified atmospheres, can be controlled in Hy-Vac's environmentally-compatible retort furnaces. Our sealed retort furnaces are used for annealing, hardening and tempering, normalizing and stress relieving. Hy-Vac's stress relieving furnaces reduce stress resulting from forming, rolling, machining or welding. To avoid stresses, components are first heated to the specified temperature levels, then cooled at slower rates. Our stress relieving procedure can be incorporated into the engineering process for both large and intricate parts. NEXT
