| Hydrogen, nitrogen and inert gases, as well as other
customer-specified atmospheres, can be controlled in Hy-Vac's
environmentally-compatible retort furnaces. Our sealed retort furnaces
are used for annealing, hardening and tempering, normalizing and stress
relieving.
Hy-Vac's stress relieving furnaces reduce stress resulting from
forming, rolling, machining or welding. To avoid stresses, components
are first heated to the specified temperature levels, then cooled at
slower rates. Our stress relieving procedure can be incorporated into
